The Nomad Kayak Club offers many opportunities for the recreational paddler, excellent facilities are located at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome and these are complimented by a number of surrounding rivers and canals. Once a club member, you will have access to all home water which will allow you to improve your skills without the need to travel.
Recreational sessions are run by our own NKC instructors, they have a wealth of experience and are on hand to help you have both fun while also developing your paddling skills.
Across the year, NKC organises a number of trips that offer its members the chance to improve paddling on both moving and flat water around the country. NKC has a dedicated trips organiser as art of the club committee; they are on hand to ensure sufficient trips are offered to club members.
Recreational paddling is fun, family friendly and helps a paddler improve their basic skills in order to progress to more challenging aspects of the sport.
To support our membership the club invests and maintains in a high number of kayaks with all associated equipment, if you join us you will have free access to this when paddling on home water.
