The January 23rd/24th Mid Wales trip is now definitely on with 5 people coming so far. Depending on water levels we will be paddling the upper Wye, Rhyader to Builth, the Usk or the middle Wye, Builth to Glasbury, which are all grade 2 and 3. We will probably be staying at the River Cafe Glasbury next to the Wye.

The February 13th/14th Dart trip is also on, organised by Nick Moore. This is also a grade 2 and 3 paddle and Nick will be traveling down on the 12th and staying at the Dartbridge Inn. Contact Nick directly if you want to go..
On Sunday the 20th of March at 10am Matt will be leading a 12 mile circular paddle up the Wey navigation from Addlestone and returning down the river Wey itself with a stop for lunch. A detailed description of the route is here. The first half is still water and the second half gentle moving water suitable for all 1*+ paddlers who are comfortable with paddling that distance. Equipment: Club boats and equipment can be hired for £5 per day paddled, so £10 for the weekends and will need to be collected prior to departure by arrangement with the equipment officer (equipment@nomadkayakclub.co.uk).
