Nomad Newsletter 29/04/16

Hello Nomads!
In an effort to improve communication within the club I aim to collate lots of information about what’s going on at Nomads in a nice shiny regular(ish) newsletter.

Hopefully everyone will find this useful. All information will of course also be available on the website.

As always, I welcome any feedback 🙂

Recreational Sessions
Wednesday evening sessions will resume on 4th May, 18:30 on the water, please try and arrive 15 minutes earlier to ensure a prompt start.

Come & Try Sessions
The first ‘Come & Try and beginner sessions of the year will start during May.
We hope to run these sessions throughout the summer from 09:00-10:00 before regular Recreational & Polo sessions.

If you would like to get involved either running or helping with these sessions, please contact Mike at coaching@nomadkayakclub.co.uk.

Upcoming Trip
The next Nomad trip is in two weeks time – Sunday 15th May – Thames and
St Patrick’s stream, Wargrave.

Matt will lead a round trip of 4-5 miles taking about 3 hours (plus lunch stop) on the Thames and St. Patrick’s stream, a lovely backwater with a good flow. Suitable for 2*+ level paddlers comfortable with some upstream paddling. Contact Matt at trips@nomadkayakclub.co.uk if you want to go.

We will be meeting at 10am at the little park by the river on the right of the A321 from Henley (RG10 8HZ) after Val Wyatt Marine and before the first house just as you enter Wargrave. Bring a packed lunch.
