High water levels at Symonds Yat last weekend, which meant that the rapids were slightly washed out and the water was a murky brown colour.
Thanks to Steve S, Pav, Martin, Peter, Steve G and Ben for coming, with a guest appearance by Beth James.
The weather held out and stayed dry. In the morning we introduced Steve G and Ben to moving water and after a few hours we stopped for lunch, as we’d had a few swims. CREAM TEAS all-round. After lunch we pushed Steve G and Ben a little harder. Well done Ben for nailing your first whitewater roll, it worked when you needed it and well done to Steve G for not giving up and getting back in your boat time after time after time. Good effort buddy!
